Several firefighters battling an apartment fire Saturday morning in Tuscumbia suffered burn injuries.
Fire officials told WAFF that the fire was reported around 7:15 a.m. at the Colonial Garden Apartments. When crews arrived, fire had already burned through the roof.
Tuscumbia Fire Chief David Pate told the television station and its partners that three firefighters were transported to Helen Keller Hospital suffering various burn injuries.
Their conditions were not made available.
