Detroit EMS and firefighters have come under attack while trying to help the community.
The most recent incident occurred Monday when an angry mob threw rocks at responders and used a tool to shatter the windshield of the fire engine, WDIV reported.
Medcis couldn't get to the vehicle that had crashed into a building due to the crowd.
Once first responders were able to get through the crowd and access the damaged vehicle, they found the driver of the SUV had died. Another person was hurt.
The crowd blamed the crew for not arriving fast enough to save the person. However, records showed they responded quickly.
Detroit police are investgating.
