Phoenix, Peoria, AZ, Firefighters Turn Out to Support Fallen Colleague's Son

Oct. 4, 2024
Veteran Phoenix Firefighter/Paramedic Adam Cauthron died recently after suffering a medical emergency while off-duty.

So many people showed up for Peoria High's junior varsity football game, they didn't all fit in the stands.

The majority of the fans -- firefighters from Phoenix, Peoria and other departments -- were there to suppot the son of Phoenix Firefighter/Paramedic Adam Cauthron who died recently after suffering a medical emergency while off-duty.

The 18-year veteran of the department was part of Arizona Task Force 1, according to 12News.

Dave Cauthron struggled to find the words to describe the outpouring of support for his son's family. "Grateful...overwhelming"

He added that a stadium seat with his son's name was placed in the stands so Broden, his grandson, will be able to see it.
