Apple Watches Accidentally Calling 911

A feature of Apple's newer smart watches is a 911 quick-call function, but it has led to a large spike in accidental calls to emergency services.

When Apple released its new smart watch last year, a new feature allowed users to press and hold a button on the side of the device to call 911, and since then emergency call centers around the country have experienced a spike in accidental calls.
