Firefighters in Salem, N.H., are now responding with a Sutphen 100-foot aerial platform powered by a Cummins ISX15 500-hp engine and an Allison 4500EVS transmission.
Firefighters in Salem, N.H., are now responding with a Sutphen 100-foot aerial platform powered by a Cummins ISX15 500-hp engine and an Allison 4500EVS transmission. It's built on a Sutphen 63-inch flat roof cab, equipped with Niehoff 430 amp alternator and 23k front axle wit a 52k rear axle. It also is equipped with a Waterous CSU 1,500 gpm pump, a 400-gallon water tank, Akron electric valves, a Sutphen custom stainless steel body, Amdor roll-up doors, Harrison 10,000-watt generator, Whelen warning lights and an Akron MasterStream electric and manual monitors at the platform.
