Swedeland Vol. Fire Co. in PA Takes Delivery of New Aerial

The Swedeland VFC has taken delivery of a 2016 E-ONE Cyclone II Long Cab HP100 rear-mounted aerial.

The Swedeland Volunteer Fire Company, Upper Merion Township in Montgomery County, PA, has taken delivery of a 2016 E-ONE Cyclone II Long Cab HP100 rear-mounted aerial. It is equipped with a 4-door 8-seat climate controlled-cab, flat roof, Bostrom firefighter seats, 500 hp Cummins ISX engine and an Allison EVS4000 automatic transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale QMAX150-23L single-stage pump, 475-gallon UPF Poly Tank III water tank, Kussmaul auto-eject, LED compartment lighting, slide-out tool trays, saws, fans, tarps, forcible entry tools, swing out tool boards, ladder tunnels, and Federal Jet Solaris warning lights. It also has a  24-inch extended front bumper, twin front Pioneer LED brow lights, Federal Q2B mechanical and E-2 electronic sirens, front discharge, creeper controls, 300 cubic foot breathing air cylinder, red LED ladder lights, and a TFT 1,000-gpm electric ladder pipe, Federal LED light bar, Voyager rear facing camera, Harrison 6,000-watt hydraulic generator, two Hannay electric reels and David Clark headsets. It was sold through First Choice Fire Apparatus, Hanover, PA, by Ron Elmo.
