The Muncie Fire Department has taken delivery of a KME rescue truck that's built on a KME Severe Service XMFD cab and chassis.

The rig is powered by a 500-hp Cummins X12 engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission.

The body features a 20-foot walk-in rescue body, two Will-Burt light towers, Onan 20-kw PTO direct drive generator, and a four-bottle 6,000-psi cascade system.
