Pleasant Hill, MO, Fire Protection District recently purchase of a 2017 Wheeled Coach Type I ambulance. The unit features a Ford F-450 4x4 chassis with a 170-inch patient care module. This unit features the Wheeled Coach exclusive Cool Bar, front of module mounted HVAC system in conjunction with ducted air through eight ceiling vents in the patient compartment. All exterior and interior lighting is Whelen LED with a Whelen electronic siren supplemented by the Whelen Howler.

The unit features multiplex electrical with Weldon V-Mux touchscreen controls in both the cab and patient care module, a Go-Light roof-mounted remote control scene light and back-up camera as well as secondary camera located in the patient care area.

The interior layout of the patient care module provides custom cabinetry designed by the customer, a Stryker Power Load with Stryker Power Cot, Knox Medvault narcotics storage and a pull-out drawer with built in IV warmer.
