Three Firefighters Injured in GA Apparatus Collision

A crash involving a responding Augusta Fire engine and a car left three firefighters, a pregnant woman and an infant injured on Friday.

A crash involving an Augusta Fire engine and a car left three firefighters, a pregnant woman and an infant injured.

The crash happened on Highland Avenue and Walton Way. According to the Augusta Fire Department, Fire Engine 8 was responding to a call with sirens and lights on when the collision occurred.

All five were taken to the hospital for evaluation.
