Two Los Angeles Firefighters Injured in Apparatus Crash

Two Los Angeles firefighters suffered non-life-threatening injuries and the driver of a pickup truck had unspecified injuries following a collision in the city's Northridge section.

Two Los Angeles firefighters were injured in a crash involving an apparatus and a pickup trick.

The accident happened shortly after 10 a.m. at an intersection in the city's Northridge section, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. That's when a pickup truck collided with the fire apparatus.

Two firefighters suffered non-life-threatening injuries and the pickup's driver had unspecified injuries. They were taken to the hospital, and two additional firefighters were treated at the scene, a department spokeswoman told KCAL-TV.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the incident, the department stated.
