Three North Carolina firefighters were injured when the apparatus they were in rolled over on the way to a call early Sunday.
WCNC-TV reports that the incident involving the Charlotte Fire Department engine happened at about 4:30 a.m. when the rig rolled over on its way to a fire call. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
Four firefighters were on the apparatus when it crashed, and three were taken to a hospital with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening.
The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department Major Crash Investigative Unit is looking into the incident.
