The Bayshore Fire Rescue apparatus was found in Manatee County after it was taken from its Fort Myers station while firefighters were on another call.

Florida firefighters are thankful a truck stolen from their firehouse has been returned.

Bayshore Fire Rescue in Fort Myers asked Facebook members for help in the search of their truck, according to their Facebook page.

The truck was taken Sunday morning between 10 and 10:15 a.m. while they were out on another call.

Anyone who saw the stolen rescue vehicle was encouraged to call the police.

Officials found it in Manatee County.

Bayshore fire officials said they’re still checking for damage, but everything looked fine, minus “a couple of dings here and there,” according to their Facebook page.

Bayshore’s fire chief Larry Nisbet thanked everyone for their help.
