Four NY Firefighters Injured as Apparatus Overturns
Four Buffalo firefighters suffered injuries and required extrication after Engine 34 swerved to avoid another vehicle and overturned during a call Friday.

Four injured firefighters in Upstate New York required extrication after their apparatus overturned while on its way to a fire call.
WGRZ News reports that the Buffalo Fire Department's Engine 34 was responding to a fire Friday when another driver attempted to turn in front of the rig. The apparatus swerved to avoid hitting the vehicle and overturned, injuring the crew of four and trapping them inside the cab.
The firefighters were removed by Rescue 1 and transported to Erie County Medical Center for treatment, but the extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
