Murfreesboro, TN, Puts 100-foot Platform Aerial in Service

Murfreesboro, TN, Fire Rescue, has put in service a 2017 SPH 100 aerial platform built by Sutphen. The aerial is powered by a Cummins ISX 12 500-hp engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Waterous CSU 2,000-gallon pump and a 300-gallon tank. Other equipment includes an 8,000-watt SmartPower generator, Whelen scene lights, Hannay electric reels, Ziamatic wheel chocks, Safety Vision camera system, Federal Signal Q2B, and a FireCom wireless intercom system.
