Talleyville, DE, Puts 109-foot Rear-Mount Aerial in Service

The Talleyville Fire Department, New Castle County, DE, has taken delivery of a 2018 KME Predator LFD 109-foot, rear-mount platform equipped with a 4-door, 6-seat climate controlled cab with a raised roof and full-height rear doors. It is powered by a Cummins ISX-15 Diesel engine and an Allison 4000EVS-P automatic transmission. It's also equipped with Bostrom Firefighter seats, a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioning system, Spectra LED scene lights, two Hannay electric reels a TFT Blitz fire, an Akron stream ladder pipe, and a Federal QB2 siren. To fight fire, it has a Waterous CSU-C208-2000 single-stage pump and a UPF Poly III 600-gallon tank.
