Las Cruces, NM, Fire Department has taken delivery of a 100-foot rear-mount platform aerial built by Pierce Mfg.

Las Cruces, NM, Fire Department has taken delivery of a 100-foot rear-mount platform aerial built by Pierce Mfg. The apparatus is built on a Pierce Arrow XT cab and chassis powered by a Cummins X-15 585-hp engine and an Allison transmission. It's also equipped with a Harrison 10,000-watt hydraulic generator, Whelen warning and scene lights, a Federal Signal mechanical siren, Hannay reels, Kussmaul battery conditions and a Norcold refrigerator,
