The Lyncourt Fire Department, Syracuse, NY, welcomed a new Toyne aerial this year. Built on a Spartan Gladiator EMFD chassis with a 10-inch raised roof, it is powered by a Cummins ISX12 500-hp engine. Engineered to bring firefighting force to high pressure situations, Lyncourt’s aerial features a Hale Qmax-XS 2,000-gpm pump and 500-gallon UPF tank. Built for hard-to-reach situations, the aerial includes a 110-foot, rear-mount LTC steel ladder. Along with Toyne’s signature storage options, the apparatus has LED lights on the ladder rungs, a hydraulic generator, a FoamPro 2002 Class A foam system and LED scene lights.
