The Summerville Fire Department has taken delivery of a custom-built KME aerial tiller built on a Severe Service LFD chassis.

The Summerville Fire Department has taken delivery of a 101-foot KME aerial tiller built on a Severe Service LFD chassis with a 10” raised roof cab.

The chassis features seating for seven with a 4Front Frontal Air Bag Protection System.

The tractor is powered by a Cummins X15 565-HP engine with an Allison 4500 transmission.

The body features ROM roll-up doors with center ladder storage.

The aerial is a 101-foot AerialCat ladder with a 94-foot horizontal reach, unrestricted 500-pound wet/dry tip load, and a 14-foot outrigger stabilizer stance.
