Delivery: Dekalb, GA, Aerial

Dekalb County, GA, Fire & Rescue has taken delivery of a Sutphen Monarch SPH100 midmount aerial that's equipped with a four-door, five-seat, climate-controlled cab. The rig is powered by a 500-hp Cummins X-12 engine and an Allison Gen 5 EVS4000 transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale QMAX150 single-stage pump and two Akron 3483 Stream Master 2 1,250-gpm monitors. The aerial has a Federal Q2B mechanical siren, FRC ACT 2 station intercom system, Hannay electric reel, Harrison 10kW hydraulic generator, Whelen Pioneer LED brow light, and front MARS lights.
