KME Fire Apparatus built this 100-foot tractor-drawn aerial for the San Bernardino County Fire Department.

The KME Severe Service™ LFD with cab is powered by a Cummins 15- 600-hp engine, Allison 4500 EVS transmission and includes a Steertek front- and rear-axle assembly. Safety features include 4Front air bag protection and an AXIS Smart Truck Vehicle Monitoring System.

Fire suppression comes from a Hale QMax 2,000-gpm single-stage pump and a 300-gallon stainless steel water tank.

The aerial includes a IQAN Motion control system and has 101' vertical reach and 94' horizontal reach with a 500 lb. tip load. It features a 2.5:1 structural safety factor, deep penetrating outriggers and a state of the art motion control system.

Features include flat overlapping doors, HiViz LED scene lighting and a Whelen warning light package.

The overall length is 61' with an overall height of 11' 3".
