Palm Bay Fire Rescue has taken delivery of a custom-built Sutphen SPH100 aerial platform on a Monarch Heavy-Duty chassis with a 10” raised roof.
The chassis has a seven-person cab and is powered by a Cummins X 12 500-hp engine with an Allison Gen 5 EVS4000 transmission.
The pump is a Hale QMAX single-stage 2,000-gpm pump with a 300-gallon water tank.
The rig features Akron nozzles on the platform and scene and emergency lighting packages are by Whelen.
