OK Ambulance Struck in Hit-and-Run Crash on Way to Call

A Seminole Fire Department ambulance was responding to an emergency when another vehicle ran a stop sign and stuck the front of the apparatus before driving off.

An Oklahoma ambulance was struck in a hit-and-run incident while responding to a call early Sunday.

The accident happened just after 1 a.m. as an ambulance with the Seminole Fire Department was on its way to an emergency, the department said in an online post. Another vehicle ran a stop sign and collided with the front of the ambulance before fleeing the scene.

No one was injured, and the ambulance sustained minor damage. According to the department, the vehicle was black and missing a rear bumper, and police are looking for anyone who has information about the incident.
