Ambulance Crew, Patient Hurt in Crash on Wayland, MI, Highway
A patient and two EMS crew members were injured after a pickup truck rear-ended their ambulance.
Upon impact, the Life EMS ambulance veered off the road and rolled onto its top.
The crew was transporting a patient to Grand Rapids when the collision occurred in Wayland, WZZM reported.
The patient was flown to a trauma center while the crew suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the truck apparently fell asleep, Allegan County deputies reported.
