The Salisbury Regional Airport (SBY) has taken delivery of a Oshkosh Airport Products 4x4 Striker ARFF vehicle with a Scania DC16 V8 670-HP Tier 4 engine that can reach 0-50 mph in under 25 seconds.
The vehicle features a 4x4 chassis with TAK4 independent suspension, a FLIR camera, and a rear-facing navigation camera.
There is a 1,500-gallon water tank, 210-gallon foam tank, and the rig has a 550-pound dry chemical suppression system.
