SVI built this hazmat unit with an 18-foot body for the Gastonia Fire Department on a Spartan chassis.

The Gastonia Fire Department worked with SVI Trucks to build a hazardous materials units with an overall length of 32' 6" and a 188" wheebase.

This rig is mounted on a Spartan chassis with a Gladiator MFD cab featuring a 10-inch raised roof and a stainless steel front bumper. It is powered by a Cummins L9 engine and Allison EVS 3000 transmission. 

The rig has an 18-foot aluminum body that is outfitted with Whelen scene lighting.

The roof has five upper body compartments with access via a SVI custom folding ladder.

There is a transverse compartment, and all compartments have OnScene Solutions Access PRO LED lighting.

Technology includes an Audiovox Voyager HD rearview camera.
