SVI built this heavy rescue on a Sutphen chassis for the Karns Fire Department in Knoxville that is equipped with custom storage modules.

The Karns Fire Department in Knoxville, TN, worked with SVI to build this heavy rescue on a Sutphen chassis, powered by a Cummins X12 engine.

With a 237-inch wheelbase and an overall height of 10 feet, the apparatus has a 22-foot aluminum rescue body.

Features include Slide Master slide-out trays, vertical slide-out tray partitions, OnScene Access PRO White LED compartment lighting and rope anchor mounts.

Storage modules include saw and airbag mounting and, at the rear, the top-side stairs includes under-stair storage.

Scene lighting includes a Command Light Knight 2, KL series light tower.

The rig is equipped with a Hale DSD single-stage 100-gpm pump, a 250-gallon poly water tank and two crosslays.
