Blakely Hose Company No 2, in Lackawanna County, PA, has taken delivery of a 2018 Marion pumper built on a Spartan Metro Star cab and chassis with four-doors and climate control. The apparatus is powered by a Cummins L9 450-hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale QMax XS 2,000-gpm single-stage pump and a 750-gallon UPF Poly Tank III water tank and a Hypro Foam Pro 2001 foam system with a 20-gallon Class A foam system. It is also equipped with Bostrom seats, Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, a Task Force Tip Monsoon deck gun, 10,000-watt Harrison generator, Will-Burt Chief light tower, Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren, Hannay electric reel, Zico swing down ladder arm and Hurst extrication tools.
