 Fair Lawn, NJ, Engine Co. 3 has placed into service a 2018 Spartan top-mount pumper built on a Spartan cab and chassis powered by a Cummins 450-hp engine and an Allison transmission. The cab has 10 seats and storage space above the crew seats, plus there is a transverse cab compartment. There are rescue-style and coffin compartments, wheel well storage space for air bottles, front-bumper storage basket, roll-out tool board and roll out equipment draws. Ground ladders are stored in a hose bed compartment. In addition, it has three speed-lay hose beds and a booster reel is mounted above the pump on the officer's side of the apparatus. There is also a rear roll-out step, back-up camera and a 200-watt inverter.
