The Boone County Fire Protection District in Belvidere has taken delivery of their fourth Toyne apparatus, a 3,000-gallon pumper/tanker.

The rig is mounted on a Spartan Gladiator ELFD 6x4 chassis that is powered by a 500-hp Cummins ISX 12 engine and an Allison 4000 EVS transmission.

The cab has a 10-inch raised roof, seating for six firefighters, and an in-cab Firecom radio system.

It has a 3,000-gallon UPF tank and a 2,000-gpm Hale Qmax pump. It is outfitted with a Hale Foam Logix 2.1A foam system and 30-gallon foam cell, plus a Akron 3418 monitor with a 12-inch electric riser.

The welded stainless steel body has stainless steel swing-out doors with mounting plates and roll-out storage trays.
