Drago-ISI

The company Drago-ISI (Engineering & Fire Safety), founded in 2008, was a finalist in the “Young Entrepreneur” prize 2009 at the MRC de Thérèse-De Blainville. The company specializes in research, development, design and multi-configuration integration of " Drago" extinguishing guns  .

Drago-ISI has designed a multifunctional hybrid cannon with controlled dispersion and projection of water and air. The "Drago" is far more efficient than other systems on the market and will optimize the use of water, in addition to obtaining a faster response time. This new strategic solution is offered to fire departments in order to significantly reduce the costs of property damage and the deployment of material and human resources caused by major fires.

Such an effective system will save more lives by providing more secure control of the fire to be fought. The concept of the barrel allows enormous capacities of absorption of heat (75%) in order to lower the temperature of the fire and its intensity. Also, it uses 3 times less water than fire hoses.This innovative solution also reduces the environmental impact of fires. In addition to causing significant material damage, uncontrolled fires generate enormous quantities of toxic pollutants since buildings are made up of several types of material.
