The Hudson, CO, Fire Protection District has put in service a 4,000-gallon tanker built by Midwest Fire.

The Hudson, CO, Fire Protection District has put in service a 4,000-gallon tanker built by Midwest Fire. It is built on a Freightliner 1145D cab and chassis, powered by a Detroit Diesel DD13 12.8L 505 hp engine and an Allison 4500EVS transmission. It is equipped with a Hale AP 50 500-gpm pump and a 4,000-gallon polypropylene tank built by APR. Other features include  a ZICO electric portable tank carrier and a 4,000-gallon portable tank. three Whelen scene light and warning lights, 10-inch square Newton dump valves, and a Kussmaul air and battery conditioner with auto eject.
