Jefferson, NH, Fire Dept. Put 3,000-Gallon Tanker in Service

    Toyne has built a large tanker on a Freightliner cab and chassis for the Jefferson, NH, Fire Department.

    The Jefferson, NH, Fire Department has taken delivery of a 3,000-gallon tanker built on a Freighliner SD114 cab and chassis. It's powered by a Detroit Diesel DD12 505-hp and an Allison 4500EVS transmission. It has a UPF tank, a Zico hydraulic 3,000-gallon portable tank rack and a customer-supplied portable pump.
