Colts Neck Township, NJ, Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, in Monmouth County, has taken delivery of a Sutphen water tender built on a Kenworth cab and chassis. It is powered by a Cummins X15 505-hp engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale QMAX 1,500-gpm pump, a 4,000-gallon UPF Poly Tank III water tank and a Trident air primer. Other equipment includes a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, ROM shutters, 10-inch side and rear dump chutes, built by Newton, a Zico tank lift and a Federal Signal Q2B mechanical siren.
