    Elsberry, MO, Fire Protection District has taken delivery of a Toyne tanker built on a Spartan cab and chassis.

    Elsberry, MO, Fire Protection District has taken delivery of a Toyne tanker built on a Spartan cab and chassis. It is built on a Spartan Metro Star cab and chassis powered by a Cummins ISL 9 450-hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Waterous CS 1,250-gpm, a 2,500-gallon UPF tank, a FoamPro 2002 Class A foam system and a Fire Research Corp. In Control 400 pressure governor. Other equipment include Fire Research Corp. telescoping lights, and TFT XFT-NJ with an 18-inch extension.
