Ridgeway Township, MI, Fire Dept. Puts Big Tanker in Service

    Ridgeway Township, MI, Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2,500-gallon tanker built by HME Ahrens-Fox. It is built on an HME 1871-SFO chassis with a HME SFOMFD-12 cab. It is powered by a Cummins L9 engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale Q-Max 1,500-gpm pump and a 2,500-gallon tank.
