Delivery: Newport, PA, Water Tender

The Newport, PA, Volunteer Fire Department, took delivery of a 2022 Kenworth T-880/Sutphen wetside water tender. The rig is powered by a 505-hp Cummins engine and an Allison EVS4500 transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale QMAX150-23S single-stage pump, a 3000 UPF Poly Tank III water tank and Zico Porta-Tank lift with 3500 gallon Porta-Tank. It also has a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, Trident air primer, ROM shutters, Slidemaster slide out tool trays and boards, three Brigade camera systems, three Newton Kwik Dumps, Firetech rear LED scene light, Whelen LED emergency lighting, Whelen PFH2 front brow light and a Federal Q2B mechanical siren.
