CustomFIRE built this 2,200-gallon tanker for the Center City Fire Department on a commercial chassis. 

This rig is built on a Kenworth T480 chassis powered by a Paccar PX9 350-hp engine with an Allison 3000 AVS transmission.

The stainless steel body is made with concealed bolted construction and features roll-up compartment doors.

Fire suppression includes a Waterous CPK-2 300-gpm PTO pump with a Fire Research PumpBoss pressure governor and Trident Air operated pump primer. The 2,200 gallon water tank is poly tank.

There is a 2.5-inch and a 3-inch suction, and a 1.5" and 2.5" discharge.

There are chutes on both sides and in the rear.

Features include adjustable shelving, a pull-out compartment tray, slide-in ladder, suction hose and portable tank storage. Wheel wells are equipped with SCBA cylinder and extinguisher storage and a Floor Dry hopper.

Emergency warning equipment from Whelen includes electronic siren and speaker, LED lightbar, traffic directing lightbar and warning lights and Grover air horns.

This is Center City's sixth CustomFIRE apparatus.
