Delivery: Howard County, TX, 3,000-Gallon Tanker

Toyne Fire Apparatus built this 3,000-gallon tanker for the Howard County Volunteer Fire Department and it is equipped with a 100-gallon tank.

The Howard County, TX, Volunteer Fire Department worked with Toyne to build this tanker mounted on a Freightliner 114SD SBA two-door chassis.

Power is provided by a 450-hp Cummins ISL9 engine with an Allison 3000 EVS transmission.

Fire suppression includes a 3,000-gallon UPF tank, Waterous 1,500-gpm CSU pump, and a Foam Pro 2002 Class B foam system with 100-gallon tank.

The stainless steel body features ROM painted roll-up doors, slide-in ladder and pike pole storage in the rear, roll-out storage trays and tool boards, and a Zico hydraulic painted Porta-Tank rack carrying a Syntex 3,000-gallon portable tank.
