The Clyde, OH, Fire Department has placed in service a tanker-pumper built by KME. The apparatus is built on a KME Predator 100-inch cab and chassis, powered by a Cummins ISX 15 500 hp engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale Qmax 150 1,500-gpm pump, a 2,500-gallon UPF Poly water tank with a 50-gallon foam cell, and a FoamPro 2002 foam system. It's also equipped with 10-inch square electric Newton dump valves with 18-inch extensions on the sides and rear. Other equipment includes a Ziamatic, single-arm ladder storage rack and a Ziamatic portable tank storage rack as well as Whelen warning lights.
