A Texas fire department's apparatus was hit by a band's tour bus while working an accident scene early Sunday. After dealing with the first incident, firefighters handled the new crash.
Hillsboro Fire Department crews originally responded to a car fire along Interstate 35, KXXV-TV reports. Firefighters put out the blaze and began putting away their equipment when the tour bus for Tennessee Christian rock band Seventh Day Slumber collided with the apparatus.
The firefighters weren't hurt in the crash, and they quickly began handling the situation, according to KXXV. They pulled the pinned driver out of the bus and also helped 15 passengers to safety.
None of the bus occupants were taken to the hospital following the accident, KXXV reports. As of Monday, Hillsboro officials told the TV station they were checking the apparatus to see if it could be repaired or if it had been totaled.
