Dump Truck Trailer Hits Bridge on Highway in Fairfax County, VA

No injuries were reported when the upright trailer struck the support beam on I-66.

There were no injuries after an upright trailer on a dump truck struck a bridge support on I-66 in Fairfax County.

After striking the beam, the trailer broke off and landed on the highway, WJLA reported.

Traffic was snarled for several hours during Monday evening rush hour as the incident was investigated and cleaned up, Virginia State Police reported.
