Homicide Suspected in TN Firefighter Drowning

An autopsy on Nashville firefighter Jesse Reed, whose body was pulled from the Tennessee River on March 17 after a weeks-long search, revealed blunt force injuries that lead police to suspect it may have been homicide.

Reed was reported missing March 6 after his vehicle was submerged in the water around 1:30 a.m., and the autopsy also found he had an elevated blood alcohol content of .305.
