Memorial Held for DE Fire that Killed 3 Firefighters

Family and friends gathered to remember three Wilmington firefighters who died five years ago in an intentional rowhome fire.

Family and friends gathered Friday to remember three Wilmington firefighters who died battling a house fire on Lakeview Road.

Lt. Jerry Fickes, Capt. Chris Leach and Lt. Ardythe Hope died as a result of the Sept. 24, 2016 fire that was intentionally set.

A memorial terrace was created at the site where the three died.
