MA Board Approves Funding $11M Discrimination Suit
The Brookline Town Board opted to take out a loan to pay the $11 million awarded to former firefighter Gerald Alston.Â
Eleven years ago, Alston filed a racial discrimination lawsuit after a supervisor left a voicemail using a racial slur.Â
The supervisor retired and Alston was fired, citing he was unfit for duty.
