Coroner at House Explosion in Perry County, PA

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a Perry County house explosion that happened Wednesday morning.

The explosion was reported around 5:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Juniata Parkway East in Howe Township.

Troopers from the Newport barracks responded to the scene and are working to determine what caused the explosion.

Several people living in the area reported on social media that they heard the explosion and could feel their homes shake.

CBS21 and WGAL both reported that the Perry County Coroner’s Office is at the scene.

Authorities have not released information about any injuries.
