Wisconsin 12-Unit Apartment Fire Displaces Dozens

-- Dec. 06--Between 25 and 40 people have been evacuated from an apartment building in the 7600 block of N. 76th St., where a fire broke out in the basement around 4:30 p.m. Monday, according to preliminary reports. Milwaukee police and firefighters are at the scene of the 12-unit building and have requested a bus for the evacuated residents. Red Cross is being called in to help the residents, according to scanner traffic. No more information was immediately available.
