Jury selection began yesterday in the murder trial of one of four men charged with killing two people, dumping their bodies in a sport utility vehicle parked near the Pulaski Skyway, and then torching it, officials said.

One man accused in the slayings skipped bail and was recently captured in Canada and the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office is in the process of extraditing him.

Hudson County Assistant Prosecutor Salvatore Rozzi said jury selection began yesterday afternoon in the felony murder trial of Steven A. Reid, 26, of Sayreville, in front of state Supreme Court Judge Kevin Callahan in Jersey City.
