March 22--Orange County Fire Rescue officials are investigating a fire that destroyed an East Colonial Drive diner early Friday.
Firefighters are still trying to quench flames at the 5 & Diner, a 1950s-themed eatery, after receiving reports of smoke about 2:45 a.m. in the 12000 block of East Colonial Drive near Waterford Lakes Town Center.
Fire Rescue dispatched several units to extinguish the raging blaze that caused the roof to collapse.
The state fire marshal is trying to determine what set off the fire.
