Va. Trailer Destroyed During Pipe Thawing Operation

A resident thawing pipes in a crawl space triggered a fire that destroyed a house trailer in Buckton.

Firefighters in Warren County found heavy fire coming from the single-wide trailer.

Both residents escaped without injury, and are being assisted by the Red Cross.

Fire officials noted that this was the fourth fire in the past 12 hours related to the extreme cold weather.
