TX Mansion Heavily Damaged by Fire Caused by Lightning Strike

Fort Worth firefighters encountered heavy fire when they arrived on the scene.

A Fort Worth mansion, on Waterchase Circle, caught fire, possibly caused by a lightning strike Saturday night causing significant damage. When Engine 7 arrived on scene, firefighters encountered heavy fire coming from the roof. The fire was brought under control in about two hours with 15 companies responding. No injuries were reported.
